Year 3 have been looking at how animals move and what each animal sounds like when moving. Independently, children have thought of an animal, how it moves, how it sounds and added their own description. I think they are great!
Yesterday, Year 3 recorded a rap as part of their Music lesson. In groups, they had to work hard to think of different movements and sounds for their animal. It was also very important to know when to join in on time. Well done Year 3!

This term we have been exploring rhythmic patterns. In groups, we have created a cat poem. We had to think hard about sentences that rhyme and instruments that worked well. We then performed our poem to a steady beat. Well done Year 3!
